Next Generation Sequencing, Genotyping and Phenotyping

Our medical approach is at the forefront of precision oncology whereby we offer a comprehensive and personalized solution for cancer patients. Through advanced technology, artificial intelligence driven testing, tumor molecular genotyping and phenotyping, and next generation sequencing, we gain valuable insights into a patient’s tumor to set the most effective and successful treatment plan.

Comprehensive genomic testing uses advanced technology to uncover the genomic makeup of the tumor and identifies alterations that can guide treatment options. Clinically, this approach has the potential to predict the effectiveness of treatments as well as identify optimal clinical trials for patients.

Ultimately, we aim to tailor treatment for the best outcomes with the least side effects. At IGH we use state of the art immune profiling including neoantigen prediction, HLA type, immune infiltration and immunotherapy targets.

Our patient-centric and multidisciplinary approach creates value for patients’ entire medical conditions and promises to improve health outcomes and allows you to:

  • Discover more expansive treatment options
  • Access the most technologically advanced testing
  • Gain a more complete patient view

Epigenetic DNA Methylation Test and the Advanced Epigenetic Chronic Stress Test

The epigenome represents every heritable modification added on top of the genome without affecting the sequence of letters (A; T; C or G) that make up the DNA. More precisely, the addition or removal of methylated groups (-CH3) at specific sites in the genome modulates the expression of our genes.

Appropriate regulation of gene expression is essential to the proper functioning of the human body. As an example, all our cells have the same DNA sequence, but each cell has a different shape and function, modulated by epigenetics.

Regulation of epigenetic mechanisms is very complex and relies on genetic and environmental factors and a problem in their regulation can lead to disease. While the DNA is almost immutable, the epigenome is modulable through specific actions.

Precision medicine through advanced genomics

Biological age or Epigenetic age is a measurement of your age based on the combination of various methylation biomarkers. In other words, biological age is a scientific estimate of the physiological state of individuals. It encompasses longevity and the ability to function (healthy aging) and takes many factors into consideration, time, genetics, but also lifestyle including diet, exercise, sleeping habits and stress.

The test is based on a blood analysis and provides personalized results while ensuring data security and anonymization.
